1.Royal Grand Palace

Grand Palace is a complex of historic buildings that became the main tourist attraction in Bangkok. Inside, there is the Royal Grand Palace which is the residence of the kings of Thailand. Although closed to the public, this palace remains a spot that must be visited by tourists to just take pictures in front of the page. 

The Grand Palace complex is open daily from 08:30 to 16:00. If you want to get into the palace complex, you have to pay 500 yuan entrance fee. The morning is the best time to visit the Grand Palace because you will not be queuing up with other travelers. When visiting, make sure you wear a decent dress.

2.Wat Arun

Wat Arun is the oldest Buddhist temple located in Bangkok District Ya. Unlike most temples in Bangkok, Wat Arun has a unique architectural style and a beautiful place at night. You will not find a wall of gold here, because almost all the walls and towers of Wat Arun temple are covered in porcelain and colorful ceramics from China. 

To get into the Wat Arun complex, you need to pay a ticket for 50 THB. Interestingly, there are a lot of souvenir shop sellers who offer their wares in Indonesian and receive payment in Rupiah. So, do not miss this unique experience while visiting Wat Arun, yes!

3.Wat Hua Krabeu

Bangkok is full of unusual surprises. One of them is Wat Hua Krabeu located on the west side of Chao Phraya River, precisely in Ban Khun Tien. Known by the name Buffalo Head Temple, this temple offers views of thousands of buffalo skulls neatly adorned the temple grounds.

The collection of buffalo head skulls is a reminder that the water buffalo population in Thailand had experienced a drastic decline in 1987. It is estimated that there are about 300,000 - 400,000 buffalo slaughtered each year to meet the needs of meat consumption for residents. If curious with the pile of skulls, visits to Wat Hua Krabeu certainly must come to the place not to be missed. This place is open to the public and is free.



3.Sungal Chao Prhaya

In Thailand, there is a major and famous river called Chao Phraya River. River that divides Bangkok has become one of the vital transportation facilities to support the activities of citizens. Hence, down the Chao Phraya River should be one of the main agenda that while on vacation to this city, must be visited when at night.

The Chao Phraya River has clean, brownish water. Along this river, you will find stalls selling typical Thai souvenirs and snacks, skyscrapers, and ships that go back and forth carrying passengers and cargo. If you want to cross on the Chao Phraya River, you can climb the tourist boat when going to visit Wat Arun.


4.Bangkok Art

For contemporary art lovers, try stopping by the Bangkok Art & Culture Center. This open-air art gallery holds a large collection of Thai and international artists. In addition to art, this tourist place also showcased a variety of design collections, sculptures, music, theater, and movies that can be enjoyed for free.

Bangkok Art & Culture Center is well worth a visit as it has a futuristic modern architecture and interior. On the exterior of the building, there is an interesting installation artwork to be the object of photo memories. Bangkok Art & Culture Center is open daily except Monday, 10:00 - 21:00.

5.Museum of Counterfeit Goods

The museum is always synonymous with historic items, but unlike the Museum of Counterfeit Goods. Here, you will find thousands of fake alias branded goods! Even so, the entire collection of this unique museum is obtained from confiscated evidence of a number of companies that infringe on copyrights and trademarks.

There are 20 categories of items in the museum, ranging from clothing, shoes, clocks, footwear, perfumes, cosmetics, drugs, cigarettes, to electronic goods. Interestingly, some of the counterfeit goods are placed alongside the original goods, thus providing knowledge that residents and visitors can distinguish between real and fake goods. To visit this place, you will not be charged.
